Our motto is ‘DZO LALI’ which literally translates ‘Fly Now’ and the response is ‘Now or Never’.
We aspire to remould our school into one of the first ten educational centers nationwide, typically recognized for their moral rearmament, excellent academic pedigree, and a first-class sporting institution, milling out men and women for our motherland and the world.
SIGNIFICANT EVENTS
Year Founded
On the 27th of February 1953, the school started under the direction of Nathan Quao, becoming the first headmaster of the school in a rented house just opposite the premises of the present Electricity Company, Dzelukope.
Foundation Laid
On November 4th 1960, Mr. E.K. Gbedemah, the then Minister of Finance, visited the present site and laid the foundation stone for the building of some school blocks.
Relocation To Site
On September 11, 1961, a group of students in Forms Two and Four transferred from the old to the new site, a year after the initial foundation laying ceremony.
The school remained at the Kudzawus residence for 8 years before moving to its current location.
Academic Growth
- 1st time quarter-finalist in the 2021 NSMQ.
- Won the Sprite Ball Basketball Competition in 2014.
- Won Silver award at the MTN APP Developer Challenger 2017.
- Won the Montreal Protocol National Quiz Competition in 2012.
- Won the National Human Rights Competition in Dec 2007).
Alumni Connections
Past students from our alma mater can be found working in many sectors and fields in the academia, media, sciences, humanities, technology, law, and social services all around the world.
As successors, we find it imperative to take up this mantle and invite all those who have that philanthropic spirit to rally to our cause to make the school greater than when we met and left it.
- To create a group of like-minded people for the furtherance of our goals for the educational prosperity of our alma-mater.
- To continue to bond together as a Ketasco family in a distant land.
- To marshal every available resource to help develop our school.
- To link Ketasco to other academic institutions in the USA for mutual academic and institutional exchanges.

Once to Every Man and Nation
Once to every man and nation, comes the moment to decide,
In the strife of truth with falsehood, for the good or evil side;
Some great cause, some great decision, offering each the bloom or blight,

Then to side with truth is noble, when we share her wretched crust,

Till the multitude make virtue of the faith they had denied.
By the light of burning martyrs, Christ, Thy bleeding feet we track,
Toiling up new Calv’ries ever with the cross that turns not back;
New occasions teach new duties, time makes ancient good uncouth,
They must upward still and onward, who would keep abreast of truth.
Though the cause of evil prosper, yet the truth alone is strong;
Though her portion be the scaffold, and upon the throne be wrong;
Yet that scaffold sways the future, and behind the dim unknown,
Standeth God within the shadow, keeping watch above His own.
